I have my Inspector “Words” section set up to quickly add a word that is set up as a lyric. I use it as an accidental (a slash “/”) that can “follow” the note around (being a “lyric”).
I’d like to select all the notes on a track and apply this specific “word Lyric” to all the notes. Is there a “Shift+…” function that can do it?
If you want to be able to add the same custom symbol/text to multiple notes, you need to use the “User Symbols” menu. When creating symbols, just select an option from the marked dropdown menu (see below screenshot). This way the symbol will be added to each of the notes in your selection.
The “Words” menu (located in the “Left Zone” section of the Score Editor) is for creating typeface (font) presets, so that you can quickly add properly formated expressions/techniques to the score.
