Have been thinking about something for a a looong time. I think it started about in my first 2 years of recording and mixing as hobby.
(Here’s the short story why I’ve been thinking do much the past years😄 )
At that tome i was on Cubase 5 or 6 LE and when upgrading there was no longer possible to bounce my tracks to Mp3. So i think i had to buy a “add on”. Down loaded and installed it…
Later on in 2024 im still on LE/AI version.
Why? Too expensive to get full /artist version.
I like how it is and don’t need much since i use guitar and bass to record along with EzDrummer. BUT some features would be great to have.
- Multitrack export
- Some routing improvement
- And other things that come with bigger versions.
The idea?:
Imaging having a “basic” Cubase and adding plugins/ add-ons to build a cubase of your liking!
Each plugin could have a price. And you have a minimum of, say 5.
And able to buy “bundles” to types of music or how to around to create your music.
Could be money saving and cpu/memory saving. Just had to get my idea out.
