Add silence to Track in Audio Montage

Is it possible to add 60s of silence to a track for reverb-tail in audio montage?
If so, how?

You can also add Silence Plugin in Master Section, Render with All Selected Clips Option and uncheck Bypass Master Section.

also possible to create 60 s silence wav and crossfade in the Montage…

Hmmm, not working. Do I miss something here?

Result, still missing reverb-tail

Where are the added 60s?

How about using that reverb on your Master Section?

Have you tried with other render options using Region Markers? For example, creating 60 seconds on a new track, then

and moving this after your file and creating a region?

It works in Mastersection, yes.
But only in audio montage clip can the parameters be adjusted dynamically.

So, how to add silence in audio montage?
Is there any reason, why adding silence is not available in Inspector, clip?

I do not use the Inspector or clip plugins, and this Envelope Smoothing relocated there is the only reason I use that function. May be someone who use clip plugins will be able to answer your question.

A few reasons I assume are

  1. You add 60 seconds silence and when you replace clip, it overlaps with adjacent clips, unless you are having one clip on one track.
  2. There are many render options available. clip, region, range etc.

So, is it possible or not?
Yes or No, pls.

If yes, how?

Year, thx.

But does it make any sense, that the option is not there?
I need to have full control over the plugins. That’s why I use the clip option. And there is a reverb-tail… Now what?

It seems to be another one of those great inconsistancies of the actual version of WL.
This and there and that… all mixed up, professionally.

If you want silence as a clip plugin, please request to add that feature, providing that replace clip is deactivated in the render option when this plugin is loaded.

What I can suggest for now, is to use audio editor, move your cursor to end, insert silence (render in place), insert marker at cursor (as it has cue to the previous end), save, create audio montage from audio file.

Thx, but why must is it be so counterintuitive complicated?
WL today, as has been said quite often here, is far from being userfriendly.
This just proofs the point again.

To add some silence is, again, no rocket science - rather a basic functionality. One, that is there, but not here.

To add a reverb tail of a reverb used as a clip plugin, use the following option.
Else if the reverb is a track plugin, make the montage longer (for example, simply by adding a marker beyond the end of the last clip).
