Lately when I add a track it is always added at the bottom of all the others and not under the selected one as it should. The version is Cubase 12 pro. Ideas?
Hi,
How do you add it? Do you use the Add Track dialog or do you drag and drop it from the MediaBay?
if I drag from the media bay the position is correct: the track is placed where I drag. If I use the add track window the track is put at the bottom (even if a track is selected)
the problem seems to be linked to one of my templates. If I don’t use any template or use another one everything works correctly.
Hi,
If I understand you correctly, you are using the As Track dialog, so the track should be placement under the selected one, right? Is there a track selected?
In this case I would be afraid the template project might be corrupted. I would try to open it, and use File > Back up Project. This would create a new project. Does the issue appears in the new project? If not, save this new project as a template. If yes, try to Create Empty project and import all tracks from the template project. Does the issue appears here?
Thanks Martin, the problem was actually in the template, I saved the project and created a new template and everything was fine.
