It would be awesome if Steinberg added separate commands for both ‘open’ and ‘close’ for many of its windows, tabs, and zones. ‘open/close’ is a useful command don’t get me wrong but for those of us who are working with a lot of macros and third-party software like Metagrid or Keyboard Maestro, knowing that a certain window is going to be open/closed regardless of its current state provides a much more stable environment for the command that follows to springboard off of.
I know this seems like a small change but it would make a very large difference to the community of folks using such software, a number that I think is getting larger by the day.
