Adding an instrument (or voice) after after inputting a template

I have a template that saved me time setting up. Only problem, it’s a vocal and the template was for piano solo. This is what I get when I follow the directions from the manual.

It would appear my vernacular is wrong. The bottom stave “Soprano” needs to be on the top. “Piano” only needs a treble and a bass clef. I appreciate any help someone wants to give me. Thanks, Connie

  • Go to Setup Mode (CTRL/⌘1).
  • In the left panel – if it’s closed press (CTRL/⌘7) – drag the Soprano player to the top.
  • Click on the disclosure triangle of the Piano player to open it.
  • Click on the three dots and choose Change Instrument.
  • Select Piano and click Change.

The extra staff menu items in Write Mode are for ossia staves.
