Adding automation event/point to all automation tracks?

Hi.

I have a mix now where I have found a rough balance for all the tracks.
What I would love to do before I start creating automation is to insert an event/point on all automation tracks
at the end of the song (or current location) which would in effect be a snapshot of my current fader positions.

Anyone know how to do this?

I have figured out how to select all automation tracks with the Project Logical Editor but Im stuck on how
to insert an automation value on all the tracks…

Hi,

I’ll try to help.

  1. Open Automation Panel.
  2. Click Show Volume.
  3. Set all tracks to Read.
  4. Choose the Range Tool.
  5. On a track select a small (as long as you want) range, starting at the point you’d like to insert your POINT.
  6. Choose all Volume Automation tracks with help of PLE. You’ll see that your range will be copied to all selected tracks.
  7. Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V. That’s it. You’ll get two automation events on every track. The first at the beginning of the range (the one you need) and the second one at the end of the range (the one you don’t care of).

And sure you can make a macro.
