Adding bars to end of flow

I would like to add bars/staves to the end of a flow. When I use the Bars/Barlines Popover to add bars, the NEW bars are crammed into a staff with music already. I’m using Dorico Elements 6

see if your last System break (in Engrave mode) has the Property Wait for next system break activated.
Sorry: no Engrave mode in Elements…

Select the last barline, then shift-B + “number of bars to add”

Yes Elements has Engrave Mode.

Oops, yes of course, sorry (re-edited my post). So if you created new bars at the end of flow and Dorico doesn’t creates new system/s when the last system is overfull, probably you have the Property Wait for next system break activated (visible only in Engrave mode), on the last System Break.

If this is not your problem, please upload the Project to see what is going on, and describe what you are trying to do.
