Hi,
Is there a way to add a comma after a Chinese character without the program creating a slur as seen in this screenshot?
Thanks,
citynoah

I do not see a slur. Perhaps this is an auto-translate error?
I see the comma after the Chinese character and a breath mark after the notes above and below. What else should I see that perhaps I have missed?
Hi Moore.grace,
For Chinese characters, you would like to disable showing the elision slurs.
In engraving options, click lyrics section at the left, then scroll all the way down, find the option like the screenshot below to disable it (Do not show).
See if this helps!
Derrek, there is a very small elision tie underneath the orange highlighted Chinese character - which actually seems to be a conglomerate of two characters* next to each other.
*) they are probably two sounds next to each other: 錯
It translates to “wrong” in English - if I am not wrong
You have solved my dilemma, Roger!
Thanks a million!
