Adding controls to a Generic Remote crashes Cubase (C10.5)

In “Studio Setup” I create a new Generic Remote. As soon as I press ‘Add’ on the right to add more controls, Cubase crashes. The exact same procedure works fine in C10.

Hi THERE.

I have the same problem. AS SOON AS I add a generic remote device and press ADD, Cubase crashes.The last post was on Dec 9 2019. The issue obviously never got resolved. Any idea why this is happening?

Do you mean the Add button to add a new line in the upper sheet? Ot do you mean the Add button to add a new set (next to the bottom sheet)? Are there any items in the Generic Remote already?

Could you attach the crash/DMP file, please?
Mac: macOS Console utility > User Reports folder (or ~user/Library/Logs/Diagnostic Reports).

Hi,

This was an known issue in Cubase 10.5.something, but it has been resolved. Update to the latest Cubase 10.5.20, please.
