Adding dedication or subtitle on Elements 5?

I’m new to Dorico Elements 5 (just got the Edu version), and I was wondering if adding subtitles/dedications are possible? Or are those tokens/text frames a pro-only feature? It seems like such a small thing to add, I hope it’s not locked under Pro!

Welcome to the forum @loafofskye!

To add a dedication etc or any text like that, you would need to add a Text Frame to your Page Template.

In Dorico Elements, you cannot edit page templates or create new ones; this is only available in Dorico Pro.

It may be possible to add the Text Frame manually to each layout but I can’t remember for sure.

Any idea how to add text frame manually - or any guesses? That would be SO helpful to me, as it’s the only feature in Pro I actually need!

No. You cannot add/edit frames in Elements.

Is it just the one frame you need added or are there various?

@loafofskye as you are asking about an upgrade in another thread for the Pro version, you could simply download the Pro trial version until you get things sorted.
