Not text-boxes, not text-objects attached to notes, but lyrics… I’m sure there is an easy way to do this, but I have not yet found it.
I have an Español/English song I’m helping with. Thanks, all!

Hmm…. How then I do specify a specific lyric for a font other than the normal font for lyrics? (I’m drawing a complete blank, here.)
Select a single lyric. Right-click Lyrics->Edit Single Lyric. You can change the font, the size and a lot of other things. If you want to change all words in all lyrics, go to the Library Menu->Paragraph styles and change the lyric style that you want to change.
I did it the same way James Gilbert did. For instance, I typed in the lyric q and then went through those steps to change it to a quarter note with MusGlyphs.
Thanks, all! It gets tedious with multiple instances, but it works.
Smh for not finding this myself and kudos to the Dorico crew for making this a native part of the program.
BTW, MusGlyphs can do with a bit of baseline shift upwards in the example above, to ensure it looks aligned with the lyrics.
Yes, I figured that out. ![]()
