I use the fingering option in Dorico purely to annotate chords -i.e. root, third, fifth - and this ability has been fantastic. However I rely on what is ‘allowed’ in terms (presumably) of ‘real’ fingering. What I see is that fingering from 0-7 is allowed, but no more. I have no idea where ‘7’ is …
