My score, which otherwise uses NotePerformer, is resisting playback of the Tallinn choral voices, which use the Sine player. Is anyone familiar with this VST instrument?
what exactly is the problem? I’ve never had an issue using the Tallinn choirs in Dorico. I assume you’ve loaded the choirs in SINE player and created a SINE VST instance for it in Dorico (as illustrated below)?

when you say “resisting playback” do you mean that there is no sound? in that case, I’d check on the Track Inspector not only that you are using the SINE player but also that the channel allocated corresponds to the one(s) set in the SINE player.
