Adjust length of note before entry

I can’t remember the keyboard shortcut…

When holding the ‘alt’ key and using the computer keyboard arrows to set the location of where I’ll be putting the note, I had a shortcut that allowed me to then briefly press the shift key also, and then I could change the length of the note (using the arrow left/right) before hitting enter to put it in.

Any thoughts?

You have to change Quantize value for this. The key commands are under Quantize Category and assigned to the commands “Set Quantize to ?th”.
