I’d like to adjust the size of the left panel, or the font size, so I can actually read which (for example) Fabfilter plugins are inserted at the inspector.

If you haven’t already done so, I would also suggest that you may want to support the plug-in renaming (aliasing) feature request and vote for it in any of the Steinberg polls that happen from time to time.
If implemented, this would allow you to rename your plugins to a shorter, GUI friendly name. This would help in the Inspector as well as the Mixconsole.

I think the problem is even worse with track names. You’re limited to very short track names in the project window before they are truncated.
