For my day job I do a lot of post audio editing in Pro Tools, but Cubase is my DAW of choice for personal projects. There’s one nice thing I can do with the track pad (on Mac) in Pro Tools that I can’t figure out how to do in Cubase, if it exists: adjust waveform height up and down. It’s really helpful for my editing workflow as I breeze around the timeline.
Is this doable? If not natively then with a third-party software like BetterTouchTool or PinchBar?
On Windows I can achieve that by holding Ctrl + Alt (which is the same as AltGr) and then vertically pinch out/in.
Maybe you can try Cmd + Opt to see if it also works on Mac?

I wish I could figure out how to change PT to use the same shortcut+gesture, just to make app switching mentally easier (and Cubase is my primary DAW), but most apps don’t allow you to change mouse/trackpad modifier key behavior. I’ll have to research if an app can help me with that, but I’m grateful I learned how to do this in Cubase – thanks!
