Adjusting note duration for staccato under slur

I know there is a setting to adjust note duration of staccato but how does one adjust only staccato under slurs? I find that Dorico’s default is much too short and would like to lengthen it while retaining the current value for non-slurred staccato.

You could create an entry in the expression map for Legato + Staccato and adjust the length % property to suit your needs.

Thanks for the idea. And that would apply only under a slur and not a staccato + tenuto articulation combo? Expression maps are new territory to me so sorry for the ignorance.

That is correct. If you want distinct behavior for staccato + tenuto, you can define that combination in the expression map as well.
