two questions -
have you tried increasing your latency settings? and or freezing audio tracks and vsti’s?
can i ask why you are running c5 via bootcamp? - i think this is a reason you are seeing a performance hit. why it would be different from the earlier version and the newer version i cant really say. i know apple says that running windows via boot camp doesn’t have any performance hit but i am always skeptical of those type of claims.
