I’m looking for some insight on how others have handled deploying or installing Dorico in a classroom environment. Below is the environment we operate in:
- Windows 11 and users do not have local admin rights.
- We reinstalled machines every year like most schools so reinstallation is required every year
- The licenses right now are being purchase under the user account.
Current process involves me logging in as admin installing the download assistant then have the teacher login to Dorico so I can deactivate the old machine and continue installing the products they have. Then I have to run two scripts to resolve issues with the teacher not having admin rights which came from the Steinberg site.
Once all this is done I can have the teacher log into the machine and launch Dorico themselves and log into Dorico one final time.
Does anyone have a deployment process that would simplify this process?
