Just invested in a new desktop. Installing Cubase, Halion and Groove Agent. Looks like all content goes in the folder Program Data/Steinberg/Content.
I want to move this content to my separate Library Drive. I could do this with the Library manager or I could put in a symlink in or use a program Ultimate Plug-in Tool Setup [which uses simlinks I think but I have not used it].
Any advice from anyone with experience of doing this - any pitfalls to avoid etc., is most welcome.
Thanks in anticipation,
Ofc better to do this with native tools (Steinberg Library manager)
I know have some situation when Windwos just delete symlinks (after update). so SLM way way better and safe.
