After creating a group / effect track the selected track are not automatically sent to it

Steps:

  • Select two tracks in the mixer
  • Right click and click “Add Effect Track”

Result: An effect track is created, but there are no sends in the selected track:

Expected: Sends need to be automatically created from selected tracks to newly create effect track.

I’ve seen this behavior working many times in many videos, and I can’t understand why it doesn’t work for me. Any help?

And if you use the menu entry that says “add … channel to selected channels” it will do it automatically
