I’ve reinstalled Windows 11 and Cubase 15. All of my existing MIDI instrument tracks are not playing back. However, when I create a new midi track instrument, it works fine.
Are you using the same audio interface? Are the tracks routed correctly?
Yes. The interface is the same and all the tracks are routed to the same Stereo Out as the audio tracks. I do suspect a simple operator error…
MIDI tracks or Instrument tracks ? I guess it’s the latter, so, do you get sound when monitoring them using either, a MIDI controller or the On-screen keyboard (shortcut : Alt+K by default) ? Additionaly, with an involved VSTi UI window opened, are there incoming MIDI messages (event receive indicator lit) ?
In any case, could you provide a screenshot of the track inspector for one of the tracks, with its Routing section unfolded ?
After just hitting a fair amount of buttons, it now seems to be working. Dumb luck. Thank you for your help!
