I’ve complained about mixer settings not being remembered before, but I have some more.
I really need to have both the inspector open on the left side of the Audio Editor, and also the Info Line, like this:
But I can’t find this in the Preferences (settings), and it always defaults back to no left tab (inspector) and no Info Line. Is there no way to save this window layout as a default?
It also seems pretty random, I’ll have it like that for one audio event, move on to the next and it stays the same, move on to another and there it’s gone. Annoying.
It’s only two actions, click the “Show Left Zone” and tick the “Info Line” box in “Set Up Windows Layout”:
But surely it should be possible to just save this as a default?
Similarly, I prefer to have MIDI Record Mode set to “Merge”, but it always defaults back to “New Parts”. Feels like it should be possible to set “Merge” as default and not constantly having to revert back to it?
And finally, I have the “Activate Count-In” icon right next to my “Activate Click”,
which is great but I want to assign a key shortcut to it and I can’t find it in the list of key commands?
Can anybody tell/show me where I can find it? Thanks.
