Aggregate time-signature doesn't show

Hi,
I want an aggregate time-signature like 6/4+3/8
I mark the bar, push shift-M, write 6/4+3/8 = nothing happens
What am I overlooking

6/4 + 3/8 (corrected with space, thanks @charles_piano) will produce an alternating time signature – a bar of 6/4 followed by a bar of 3/8. But since the next bar already has a 4/4 time signature, all Dorico can do is give you the bar of 6/4.

If you want an aggregate time signature, then you should use 6/4|3/8.
