Ah, the Glue Tool

I may be missing something simple but when I use the glue tool my cursor does not stay at the glue joint (which I would prefer) but jumps to the beginning of the entire clip. Can this be changed? Thanks.

Hi,

Do you have the Transport > Video Follows Editing On/Off option in the menu enabled by any chance?

Hello @Martin.Jirsak . To clarify I am talking about MIDI clips. Whether “Video follows” is checked or not I have found that it only happens when the first clip to be glued is open in the lower zone. I know I’m missing something simple or have a false concept of something.

I see. Then this is the reason. A new MIDI Part becomes selected and opened in the Key Editor. Therefore, the view jumps to the beginning.
