Hi. Just a quick technical compatibility question. I’ve been using my copy of the original Alchemy synth in Cubase 10 Pro with no issues. I love the synth, but I’m thinking of upgrading Cubase at last to 14. Does anybody know if Alchemy will work in 14 the way it does in 10? I really don’t want to lose this synth.

Hi,
that depends on - is it a VST2 or VST3 instrument? If it is a VST2 instrument it is not officially supported anymore. However, you can explicitly allow VST2s to be run in C14 in the VST Plugin Manager.
Why don’t you download the trial version and check it out for yourself? If you want to buy it you don’t have to reinstall anything, it is just a matter of activation - the trial and the full version are identical.

Works perfectly here, as its last Windows compatible 1.55 version (VST 2.4) :
But yeah, as some say here, let’s get rid of VST2 : it’s “dead” !
