Hello everyone. Is it possible to horizontally align pedal lines (when they aren’t merged) at just one specific point? I found the setting that enables alignment, but it applies it to the entire project, whereas I only need it at one specific spot (similar to how dynamic grouping works). As you can see in the photo, the two pedal lines are slightly offset; since I have to rule out the global setting, I am forced to align them manually.

In the example I cited, the two pedal lines must be kept separate because there is a complete break in the piece. The new pedal line ends up positioned beneath a note that is only a few millimeters higher, and this tiny offset between the lines makes the whole thing look very unsightly. It would be a real shame if Dorico did not offer a way to align the two lines.
There is an option to align pedal lines on the Pedal Lines page of Engraving Options: “Align pedal lines across width of system”
Of course I know that; in fact, I even asked if I absolutely have to intervene manually. That is exactly what I was asking: is there a way to tell the program to align the two lines automatically, without forcing me to do it by hand?

But that option would align the lines across all the systems, whereas I need the pedal lines to be offset when there are very low or very high notes. What I was asking is whether it is possible to align only specific lines that I select, exactly like in Finale.

Apologies, I misunderstood. No, there isn’t a way of aligning specific pedal lines in that way.
