I have been having difficulty aligning these lines with each other. I just doesn’t want to go through the middle of the line.
could you possibly help?
also why is the zoom percentage locked in at 1600% is there a way to increase the zoom percentage above 1600?
Instead of having separate items for the symbols and lines, you could create the accidentals as custom playing techniques, set their continuation lines to be simple lines without hooks etc, and make them aligned with the bottom of the symbols?
Or, make the accidentals as line annotations, and put those as start/end line caps?
Pragmatically … The details you can see at 16× are finer than the resolution of printers. Sibelius also maxes out at 1600%. Having worked in that for 20 years, I can tell you that 800% is fine enough for almost any adjustment.
