All Audio Stopped Working

I used Dorico a few weeks ago to demonstrate some notation things at a local college and had to switch audio settings to get playback working (everything was fine). Now, I’ve gone back to “built in audio” on my Mac and I’m getting no sound. I can’t for the life of me figure out what I’m missing.

In case it matters I have NotePerformer installed as well, but that worked fine before this too.

Please go to Edit > Device Setup and click the Device Control Panel button, a new little window will appear. There, in the list of outputs, is the built-in speaker tick-marked as active?

It wasn’t! Ugh. Wonder how that happened? I didn’t even think to look there.
