All Notes Sound C5 in Dorico Channel 1

Hello

This just started day before Xmas. I’m playing VSL BBO Woodwinds in Dorico Pro 6. Flutes, Oboes, and Clarinets (all a3) play back ok But the flutes in channel 1 will only sound C5 when I enter the notes by hand or click on them with the mouse. When I use keystrokes to move the pitch up or down, again the only note I hear is C5. If I make the Oboes channel 1 then the oboes only sound C5

Is this a Dorico issue or a VSL issue or am I doing something real dumb. I’ve reinstalled the samples, doesn’t solve the problem.

Is it just one document, or all documents? Do Flutes on Channel 2 work ok?

Then it sounds like a problem with Channel 1. Could something else be sending messages?

Very rarely does reinstalling fix things! However, a good restart is worth a go.

Hi

The problem is only with this project, seemingly. I’ve reinstalled both Dorico and VE Prp & samples but the problem persists. Iv’e added a piccolo as channel 10 sitting above the flute and set the flutes to channel 2 - so it looks like it’s in score order on the page.

I’ll live with it though I’m curious how I made this happen - I was probsably editing something and hit the wrong button/option. - thanks.
