A very bad thing just happened! I use wl 7.1 under windows 7, 64bit. during working wl crashed down, after i opened it the next time every master preset disappeared as well as every other setting (plugins etc)… man, goddamn it! hours of work, this can’t be real… where are those settings gone???

the problem is already solved! i just had to deinstall wl first, then i reinsatlled it and everything was there again… strange!
Under Windows, Master Section presets are located there:
C:\Users\Philippe\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\WaveLab 7\Presets\Master Section\
The settings’s root is there:
C:\Users\Philippe\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\WaveLab 7\Presets\Master Section\
Of course, WaveLab won’t erase your settings in any circumstance. I see these possible explanations:
If you don’t see you Master Section presets: the option “Presets are relative to Master Project” has been activated by mistake (Master Section preset menu).
If you don’t see any setting at all: check if the setting path has been changed (Global preferences, first page, the default should be “independent for each user”.
If you setting files are really missing, this could be a HD error. Run a check on your HD.
