I just got an Allen & Heath GS-R24m console and am trying to best develope a workflow. I had been using a Tascam DM-4800 mostly in remote layer mode and wanted to get a more analog arrangement. I love the console so far!
When you are using a lot of tracks for drums, BGV’s etc, since the console routes the console tracks in order of the DAW tracks, how do keep your separate sub group tracks only in Cubase and only show the Cubase stereo group channels on the console?
You run out of 24 channels pretty fast so I’m just trying to see what everyone is doing to make it all fit.
