Allow Clef and Transposition Overrides from a clef change following an Incipit

Feature request: Allow Clef and Transposition Overrides from a clef change following an Incipit.

(Or maybe I’m missing something, in which case please enlighten me!)

I’ve made a simple example (see note at end).

And here’s a duplicated Alto part that I’ve called Alto (G8):

At bar 2 I’d like a G8 clef with all the following notes up an octave.

Clef and Transposition Overrides only applies to a whole layout and doesn’t work when there’s a clef change in the part. In any case if it did work it would presumably apply to the first clef.

Here’s the Dorico file.

A more general version of this feature request is to allow Clef and Transposition Overrides from any clef change until the next clef change.

For context, I’m working on some complex polychoral early music pieces, much more complex than this example, with a variety of clef and transposition needs for different doubling instruments. At the moment I’m duplicating a Player and adapting that, but then I have to make any changes in both parts (not always straightforward, and potentially error-prone). I’ve also tried the “old-fashioned” way of adding the incipit in a new flow and including it in a new music frame in the First page templates (full score, choir parts, individual players). This works, but it’s quite mind-bending. Any method will ideally be easily accessible to someone else taking over the project at some point, which is why my mind turns to Clef and Transposition Overrides

Note: I adapted the example that’s in the Incipits section of @benwiggy 's article “Adventures in early music with Dorico, volume 2” on Scoring Notes. Excellent article, Ben. Thank you!
