Allow "DAW-Like" Input In Play Mode

When I first got Dorico I was super excited about the ‘PLAY’ workspace because it closely resembles a DAW. Intuitively I thought that there would be an option where just like In Cubase I can select on an instrument to record and input music in real time, delete what I want to take out, etc…but that is clearly not the case.

Please allow for this to happen and it would make Dorico PERFECT!

You can real time record any instrument in Write mode.

I’m aware of that, but I just figured you could also do that in play mode considering the format is identical to a traditional DAW.

You can get some of the display of Play mode in Write mode by showing the Key Editor in Properties.
