I’m sure I’m not the first to notice, but I wasn’t able to find an existing forum post mentioning this for some reason.
In Dorico 6 (and probably previous versions too), alphabetically ordered menus seem to follow the operating system’s locale setting rather than Dorico’s language setting. As an example, here’s the Engraving Options window in Dorico 6 in English, running on Windows 11 in Czech. The settings for chord symbols and diagrams are “misplaced” here, because the Czech language treats “ch” as a single letter (located between H and I in the alphabet).
I genuinely have no idea whether this should be considered a bug or not, but I’m pointing this out just in case. ![]()
