Alt Tabbing from Cubase not working properly when a VST is open (Win10, C13)

Hi

I am not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but when I want to alt+tab out of Cubase - to another program or window - then I have to hold down Alt and press Tab twice or more, otherwise it stays in Cubase.

It gets pretty annoying over time, because Cubase is the only program where this happens, for me, at least.

Is there any way to fix this? And if it’s a bug, can we look forward to a fix soon?

Using Cubase 13 Pro on Windows 10.

EDIT: When in Project Window (or MixConsole), Alt+Tabbing seems to be ok. But when I have a VST open, then the problem persists.

I think this is the behavior, certainly in MacOS. Main Cubase window behaves nicely as you say but when you have any popup Window (VST plugin, Cubase channel strip, anything) the normal reserved OS keys don’t apply. Midi Remote tools can also lose ‘focus’..

If this behavior is intentional, then there should be a way to turn it on or off in the settings.

If this is a bug then it’s obvious what should happen.
