The attached image is a much reduced version of the actual music. When played back, Dorico (Win 11, 6.2.20.6183) plays bars 1,2 1,3 1,2 1,3 4. I.e., as if number of times played was 4 instead of 8. Have I missed a setting? (Dorico correctly populated the second ending with “2.4.6.8.” when the Times Played for the first ending was set, so I would think it would know how to play it back.)
Hi @Jeff_Murphy, adding two further hidden D.C., with Play Repeat activated for all 3 D.C., seems to take care of the subsequent repeats playback.
(Create the other D.C. in a different rhythmic position, then move them all at the beginning of last bar)
I am not sure if there is a limitation on the nr. of the Replay repeats functionality for each Repeat Jumps, but doing as I suggested seems to overcome this:
Dorico file example:
8 times repeat.dorico (1.3 MB)
Playback example:
Thanks! that works in this case.
