Always use the same midi remote assignment to control a parameter from a plugin

Hello, is it possible each time I load pitch shifter to have a specific control be mapped to my endless encoder without having to remap it each time ?

Have you explored using Focus Quick Control?

I tried. if the plugin window is closed, the mapping revert to controlling quick controls from the vst instrument instead. But I guess it’s a small workaround because it can’t know which insert slot is the plugin you want to control, it might change from one track to another

I’m sure you can accomplish it with some clever scripting if you’re willing to go the API route.

you can lock the focus quick control to a specific plugin, there is a tiny lock button at the top right hand side, then it will remain even if the plugin windows is closed
but that means all your other focus quick controls are locked too.
