Hi,
Your Ambience Match module is pretty great. I’m missing a function I have elsewhere whereby the ambience actually replaces the audio in a selection, rather than simply overlays the ambience onto a selection. Is this doable?

I’ve been trying to work out the same. In pro tools if you selects and consolidate a blank range it won’t apply the ambience to it, it says no layer or something to that effect. If you commit that consolidated clip then it will apply the ambience to it…weird… If you duplicate a clip, turn the clip level all the way down and then consolidate it you can apply the ambience to it and you will get just the ambience, but it;s a long work around. It needs an ‘output ambience only’ tick box, or needs to paste the ambience to a new layer so you can mute the original layer and just get the ambience, that’s what we need to create fill.
Exactly. Also, if the Ambience sounded less like a loop, that would be helpful. Let’s call it an Ambience OVERWRITE mode or something to that effect. For dialogue, it’s a must.
