An additional grey line at the start of my loops

As you can see from the image, I seem to have an additional grey line at the start of my loops. Try as I might, I can’t get the snap function to land on the bar (snap is on). First I thought I might have the project offset maladjusted, but no, not so.
Maybe its normal behavior? It kind of make sense to start a loop a few ticks early to ensure CC messages are picked up.

Is this the same for other people please?

Aside - much easier on this new forum to load a pic - drag and drop

Looks like a marker line to me Zero! Why don’t you Ctrl-M and see if there’s a marker listed at that position.

Thank you, that was it. I never inserted this marker - at least consciously.
