After performing a content update for HALion Sonic 7 (approx. 1.4 GB) the other day, I began experiencing several issues in MediaBay.
HALion Sonic Common Presets Content
HALion Sonic Content
HALion Sonic Factory Content
Studio Kit
The folders listed above (and others) appear greyed out, and their contents are not displayed.
It is unclear whether these folders were originally present.
Folders for content I do not own a license for are also visible in MediaBay; they too appear greyed out and are empty.
Additionally, selecting a “Drum Kit SE” track preset in MediaBay causes an error, and in some cases, causes Cubase to crash completely.
Has anyone else experienced MediaBay malfunctions following the recent content update?
It seems to resemble issues encountered with previous content updates, though I cannot say for certain.
I have tried reinstalling MediaBay and rebuilding the database, but there was no change.
I also tried deleting and reinstalling the content (such as HALion) via the Library Manager, but that didn’t help either.
I have attached the dump files generated during the errors for reference.
This is the dump data generated when Cubase crashed after operating MediaBay.
