Analysis markings

My topic is fugue, and I need to mark all returns of thematic material. In Finale I used a horizontal bracket that worked much like a slur. What tool(s) might be available to me in Dorico?

Something like this?

There are many lines and brackets in the lines pallette:

Yes, this is it. I’m having a little trouble manipulating these brackets. Any hints? For instance, how does one get the bracket below the staff with the ends pointing up?

Is this what you are referring to?

Yes, that looks great, but when I go to the Lower Zone I don’t get a Horizontal Line tab.

Do you mean to input it in the first place? if so @meixner gave you this information above or refer to the user guide.

The bracket I chose from the panel is designed to flip its hooks automatically, you just have to input it and then - if needed - switch it to „ below“

You have to select the bracket alone. If you don’t get options for it, you might be in the wrong mode to change its properties (Engrave vs Write Mode).
Also, the Lower Zone can be big, depending on what’s selected in the score. You may need to scroll its content horizontally.
