Anchor DS, etc to bar line

Sorry to cross post, but I didn’t get a response on Cubase forum… I have C15

How do I attach the DS sign, rehearsal letter, DS al Coda, etc., to the bar line, or, free float them? What score does is stack them above the rehearsal letters, attached to the notes, (here, the rest on one) so I get this big gap between staves ----

AND - how do I make the DS sign larger, independent of other signs, fonts, etc.?

For your second question, you can get the tiny segno signs larger through a setting in Engraving Options → Repeat Markers → Design.

Edit: Wait… when I got back to this to try and reproduce your first issue, I read your first paragraph properly. Are you saying that you’re doing this in Cubase and post in the Dorico forum because you didn’t get a reply over there? Then I’m sorry, we can’t help you. While the two programs do share some things, they’re not the same and the answer I gave probably has no relevance to Cubase.

When entered automatically, the Segno does indeed position itself directly above the Rehearsal Letter. You will likely have to use Engrave mode to rearrange the symbols manually. At least in your example, having the symbols at the start of the system gives you some extra flexibility horizontally.
