I’m curious about this as well. The newer Android tablets are more powerful than the Apple iPads.

I highly doubt we will see any kind of professional audio software anytime soon on Android, due to the inferior audio subsystem and APIs there.
And concerning performance: While the newest Samsung tablets do beat the iPad Air in raw Geekbench scores (though only by a few percent), the Android (Linux) kernel has always been weak at realtime audio stuff, so that probably doesn’t mean anything
