Annotating Audio Tracks

Hi,
Had a quick search but couldn’t find if Cubase Artist 6.5 has a way to add annotations to an audio track? Main use would be to write guitar chords alongside the audio - is that possible?

I use the marker track for this. I think Cubase 7 has an actual chord track that might serve that purpose even better.
