Hello Eggsalad,
actually I’m struggling with the creation of an expression map. So I would be very happy to support you (and me ) and become a beta tester. I run Dorico 4 under MacOS Monterey.

Best regards

What a coincidence! I am taking my time to get my head around percussion maps and playback in various orchestra libraries. Amazon what can be done here, but I feel I lose much time clicking around the various windows. So if you still need people, I would indeed love to help with testing. (Mac Ventura 13.2 on M2)

A question in advance: whatever your extension is creating, can it be re-used on a “naked” Dorico? Or would it need your extension?

@Ulhati Thanks! Good timing – I’m about to post an updated beta version. Will message you when ready.

@rowild The editor is a standalone app which imports and exports Dorico libraries, so it won’t affect your installation of Dorico at all. That said, it might not be what you’re looking for to learn about expression maps; it’s geared especially to facilitating large maps. I’ll message you the info though. And thanks!!

Would like to join the beta, Mac Monterey

Hi, @wxyz. Thanks for your interest! The app was released and is available for free here:

I’m (finally) working on a cross-platform version though and will be seeking testers again in the near future – mostly Windows users, but Mac will also be helpful. I’ll post here with more info when available.
