When you have Follow enabled… even when the icon is orange or white…
The screen should NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHVER advance if the mouse is in ANY way engaged.
It is one of those MOSQUITOS that can totally take one out of a project. Yer CONCENTRATING on a bar, mouse at the ready and… the screen advances and the moment is lost.
The only one more annoying than this? When Cubase decides to autosave just as yer about to click the mouse.
Cubase should NEVER, NEVER, NEVER autosave if the mouse is in ANY way engaged.
In fact: Cubase should NEVER prioritise -any- task above the mouse. If you have the mouse engaged, it means you are CONCENTRATING. DO NOT DISTURB!
This stuff MATTERS.
