Another bypass problem (WLE 9.5)

I’m not sure if this is related to issues already raised by others about 9.5. I didn’t have the issue in Elements 9.0 or 9.1.

Best explained by example.

• Render an original wav file as FLAC at the original sample rate (happens to be 96k).
• Then render the original again as MP3, which involves resampling to 48k (in Master Section).
• Try to play the FLAC file. Master Section is auto-bypassed, but sometimes file plays back at half speed.
• Also, starting play is erratic and playback may not always start.

Possibly related as well? Saving and loading a Master Section preset no longer loads a non-Steinberg plugin (Kazrog Master Dither) in the Final Effects/Dithering slot. I think it did in 9.0 and 9.1 (but as a new user, I’m not certain).
