I’ve read here and there that people have had mixing issues with Cubase in the sense that the song they hear when playing is nowhere close to the mp3 that is produced by Cubase.
I have this same thing. The music sounds amazing while it’s in the computer but can never leave the computer.
We’re talking about an accoustic song on the guitar with voice. I usually stick a Sure 58 in front of the guitar and record the song like that - it works really well.
I’ve tried immitating people of youtube who put compression and EQ and things on their songs but it just makes mine sound a lot worse.
Is there one thing I may be omitting?
